- My Name is Caitlin. I tried numerous times during my childhood to change this fact, but to no avail. I nearly succeeded at changing it to ‘Poppy‘ and was happy for a few hours until my sister told me that was what heroin was made out of. Not what a 7-year-old wants to hear.
- I am a Taurus, have my Ascendent (Rising) sign in Aries, my Moon in Gemini, my Mercury in Gemini, my Venus in Cancer and my Mars in Aquarius. I have also recently become interested in Astrology :p
- As a baby I would get very grumpy and cry if I was not fed every few hours… Not a lot has changed.
- I hate maths and am terrible at it. I used to write 42 for all the answers I didn’t know because my father told me it was: “the answer to life, the universe and everything.” Thank you Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy, I still only barely passed math in High School.
- I have a phobia of crocodiles. They can get you in AND out of the water.
- I NEED coffee to function.
- I SEVERELY DISLIKE being cold. Hats, scarves, tights, gloves and boots should only be used as optional fashion accessories, they should not ACTUALLY be necessary garments to survive the cold.
- I am a vitamin freak, believe in alternative medicines and am especially a huge fan of acupuncture. I WILL argue with you about the validity of acupuncture and alternative medicines if you disregard them in front of me.
- I LOVE EATING MEAT AND VEGETABLES. This has become a much more important part of my personality since I moved to Italy and began eating pasta and rice every.single.freaking.day.
- I feel very old when I see people write TGIFFL or somesuch as I no longer have any idea what any of these abbreviations stand for. What is more worrying is that my mother often does.
Sometimes I like to pretend I am not lactose and gluten intolerant.
